TASTING NOTES

Light ruby red color.  Complex bouquet that superbly includes a savory array of mushrooms, bay leaves, spicy, tobacco, citrus zest, toasted hazelnuts ad balsamic notes, accompanied by hints of ripe wild berries.   On the palate it is soft and fresh, the tannin is well present, harmonious and of good power.  Nice notes of ripe and dried fruit and nuts on the finish.  The full and intense flavor gives a very pleasant persistence.

PAIRINGS

Pairs well with red meat dishes, especially braised meats and wild boar.   Also enjoy with a nice cheese platter which includes Pecorino and Parmigiano.
